Fiveomotorsport Nissan & Subaru Side Feed Fuel Injectors

 

With the introduction of the new adapter kits, I guess it would be wise to give further details about the Fiveomotorsport custom side-feed fuel injectors available for Nissan and Subaru applications

All of our side feed injectors are flow tested on state of the art, industry standard equipment at various pulse-widths and RPM ratings (also can be referred to as pulses per minute during bench testing).  We do not only match the injectors at static flow rates (wide open flow), but we also match the injectors in sets according to the dynamic statistics and characteristics of each individual injector.  Dynamic testing is extremely important when it comes to flow matching fuel injectors.  As an example, we flow test the injectors at 6000 pulses per minute with a pulse-width time of 5.0 milliseconds, and again at 6000 ppm with a pulse-width time as low at 1.5 milliseconds and then place the injectors in matched sets based on all 3 of these recorded data-points.  Dead-time/latency information (the time between injector pulses) is also recorded and this information is also used when placing injectors into custom matched sets.
